Hi, I’m Katie! I’m a lover of delicious foods and gorgeous design with an undergraduate degree in Graphic Design and a Japanese minor from Arizona State University.
Through my work, I’m passionate about expressing creativity through playful visual solutions, with an emphasis on detail, material, and craft. I believe that design thinking is a way of navigating the world and promoting change through curiosity. Influenced by Japanese and Swiss design, a sense of fluidity and minimalism are pillars of my approach.

Some bonus facts
I’m not awake unless I’ve had copious amounts of coffee after some early morning cat alarm clocks, aka Luna and Loki (my two resident su-purr-visors). I spend a lot of my free time staying active. I enjoy doing strength training and HIIT at home and experimenting with nutrient-dense dishes in the kitchen through baking or cooking.
If I’m not out photographing and exploring, you can most likely find me rewatching old Ghibli movies to practice my Japanese or running around the realms of RPG video games.
